Cobh Tidy Towns
How you can help Cobh Tidy Towns
Life is busy….but there is always something you can do to make things better where you live.
Motorists please keep your litter inside your car and bin it at home.
Pedestrians please bin your litter or pick up a piece and bin it if you see it. Imagine the difference if everyone just picked up one piece?
Young people please take home or bin your cans and fast food wrappers from the Cathedral Car-park, Burma Steps, the Rock, the Holy Ground or wherever you congregate.
Householders please pay for your litter disposal and don’t leave it abandoned around town for our volunteers to deal with. We really don’t like having to deal with County Hall to find you but we will.
Dog owners please don’t leave your dog out unsupervised to foul our streets and please clean up when you have them out for a walk.
Businesses please sweep daily outside your premises to clear cigarette butts and other litter.
Let’s work together to keep Cobh Clean.
Going for Gold..
We need you. Everyone has a part to play. Please do what you can.
Come along and support our fundraising coffee morning next Thursday morning 8th May from 11-2 in Cobh Heritage Centre. Funds raised will go towards the cost of summer flowers on the approach roads to Cobh.
Want to learn about composting? Come to a free evening at Cobh Community Allotments next Friday 9th May at 7.30 pm. Reserve your place by contacting Moggy Somers on 086 0560961 or Anna Aherne 086 3593767.
