Cobh Tidy Towns News
On a sunny bright Saturday morning our volunteers took to the streets and swept rubble along Harbour Row, swept the Preaching House and Burma steps, gathered litter from Connolly Street and the beach by the huts. The Great Island Spring Clean is on next Saturday 26th April. Please look around for litter, weeds and dirt along kerbs, uncut green areas and buildings in need of a coat of paint and organise yourself, a group of neighbours or your club or organisation to be a part of the start of our National Tidy Towns ?Going for Gold? campaign.
Residential groups can get clear bags from the council on Tuesday for their clean ups as other bags will not be collected by the Council afterwards. Please join in and keep Cobh clean.
Best of luck to Jamie Stanton from all the Tidy Towns volunteers in the final of The Voice next Sunday!
