The organisers of the Barrack Hill Ball Roll would like to inform everyone that after successfully running this event for the last seven years they unfortunately find that they are unable to do so this year. Therefore for the foreseeable future this popular event will now be run by the Cobh Youth Services in conjunction with Brainwave (Epilepsy Ireland)
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the many individuals and businesses who supported and helped in the running of this event over the years, especially Cobh Town Council, Cobh Tourism, Cobh Tidy Towns, Cobh Credit Union, Cormac McCoiter of Keen on Sport, Port of Cork, Paul O Halloran of Ryan’s Bar and Treasure Cove Jewellers. We would also like to thank local media, all those who sold balls, volunteers who helped out on the day, all those who bought balls and those who made anonymous donations. A special thank you to the residents of West View, without their co-operation this colourful event could not have taken place. If we have forgotten anyone we apologise
We wish Cobh Youth Services the best of luck in the future running of the Ball Roll and urge the public to continue to give them the same support you have given the event over the years.
