pirates4001121Good news on two promising juveniles this week. Cian McNamara has made it to the third year of the 3-year Munster Cadet squad programme for those born in 1997 and starting next week will participate in the Munster Youths Squad Strength and Conditioning Programme in CIT.  Shane Cullimore has finished his third year for those born in 1996 and is awaiting further developments. There are 6 others involved with the Cork squad for those born in 1998. Julian Kahn is part of the East Cork coaching team. There is great credit due to all the juvenile coaches for bringing the players on from under 6 through to Youths level.

This year’s Summer Camp (run by the Munster Development Office) will be from July 22nd to July 26th. It is a great week of fun with visits from Munster stars. Each participant also receives a Munster Adidas kit. Cost for the week is €85 but if registered before May 1st it is reduced to €75.

Pirates’ Twin Peaks Challenge takes place on Sunday 6th May on the Galtees. One can take on Galtee Mór, Galtee Beag or both.
