Cork County Mayor to provide inspiration to Networking Group for Business Women at Fashion Themed Event
Councillor Barbara Murray, Mayor of County of Cork will address members of East Cork based business group Catalyst Cobh. The fashion themed event will take place on November 14th at the Sirius Arts Centre, Cobh.
Cllr Murray, a business owner prior to becoming a full-time councillor in Youghal Town and Cork County Council, entered political life 8 years ago. In 2012 she became Mayor of the County of Cork for the year 2012-2013 and is the second woman to hold this position. She will speak about her determination to succeed in an inspirational address to members of the East Cork women´s business network.
The second half of the the evening will feature a fashion show with renowned stylist, image consultant and owner of Illusive Model Agency Claire Cullinane acting as MC. Men´s, women´s and children´s clothing from
member business including Pio, The Princess Rooms, The Keen House and Keedo Clothes. Makeup, accessories, hair and beauty from Brands Direct, Fine Hair and Barbara Hall Creations will also be presented.
A number of local food businesses including Grebel Foods, Tregan Craft Centre and Green Saffron will exhibit at the event providing samples and information. The event provides attendees with an ideal opportunity see a wide range of products available in their local area and to network in a relaxed athmosphere.
