Cobh Hockey Club Notes:

27 Mar: Div 4 came to Lim in 3rd place. A win for Cobh could see them winning the league. A win/score draw for Lim would see them take the title. The game started with great intensity, both teams playing great hockey.Cobh had the best chance in the 1st half and the Lim goalie had to make some nice saves. The 2nd half …had more of the same but it was to end 0-0, leaving Cobh in 3rd and Lim left to play Tipp.

27 Mar: Div 6 team travelled to Lim and only a few mins into the game lost a player to injury. Playing most of the 1st half with ten players they played some fine hockey but just before half time went 1 goal down. They started the 2nd half putting great pressure on the Lim defence putting together some fine moves. Wit…h only a few mins to go Lim broke free to score twice in quick succession. Final score at 3-0 to Lim
