Cobh Classic Car Club Welcome ‘Wolseley Car Club’ – Sept 15th

On Saturday 15th September, Cobh Classic Car Club will welcome The Wolseley Car Club of Ireland to Cobh. The visit forms part of their 17th Annual Rally, which takes place over three days. The Wolseley club decided to make Cobh part of their route after hearing of the success of Cobh’s Titanic ‘100’ Displays.

This spectacular collection of beautifully maintained cars are ranging in years from early 1920’s up to early 1950’s. The cars will arrive in Cobh at 11am where they will be on display until 12noon, after which they will proceed to the Waters edge (Deepwater Quay) car park where they will perform auto tests. After the tests, the cars will then head off onto the next stage of their rally. (approx 1pm)

This promises to be a nice nice sight for vintage auto enthusiasts and a nice way to spend a couple of hours in the town centre.

Please note: This is a timed rally so the cars won’t be hanging around before or after the times given above.
