Cobh Tourism/Cobh Tidy Towns/Cobh Heritage Centre & Cork Harbour Open Day

As a part of the Cork Harbour Open Day, Cobh Tourism and Cobh Heritage Centre have organised a Treasure Hunt mingled with a word search puzzle that will be fun and educational for all the family. The *COBH Great Island Great Harbour Great Ships Great Puzzle!* will lead people along the seafront of Cobh through a series of clues and questions. The answers can then be used to solve the wordsearch puzzle. The question sheets will be available from the Ticket Desk of Cobh Heritage Centre on Saturday 15th September from 9.30 am – 5 pm and on Sunday 16th from 11am – 5 pm. Participation is free.

As a part of Cork Harbour Open Day on Saturday 15th September, Cobh Tourism have organised a Crab Fishing in Cobh event from 3.30 pm – 5.00 pm Children can fish in safety from Kennedy Park (The Promenade) and a fishing line, bait and bucket will be supplied.

As a part of Cork Harbour Open Day, Cobh Tidy Towns is delighted to host a seashore wildlife walk entitled* Life along the Seashore.* It will be held on Sunday 16th September at 3 pm. Meet at Bishop Roche Park (Cove Fort) which is next to the Port of Cork Operations Station, Connolly Street, Cobh. This is a free event suitable for families and will be led by Nuala Madigan of the Irish Peatland Conservation
