Cobh Camogie Notes 24th June

A quiet period for most of our teams..U11’s playing well in blitzes. Juniors have qualified out of their group. U16’s & U18’s have had exam breaks. U14’s have earned themselves a place in the county quarter final after a fantastic win over Na Piarsiagh today, We got on top of a strong visiting team early and made some fantastic scores (a couple you would normally only see on telly) to lead by 4 points at half time, although we were back level with 15 mins left our girls stretched their legs to a fabulous finish winning 3.04 to 2.01. Quarter final will be playd this week, venue and time tbd.

Our U18’s have a county league final next Sunday 24th venue and time tbd. Our U16’s play Brian Dillons away on Tuesday evening. The junior team have gone to Tralee for a sun break…or blitz ;-))    Our county winners from last year were taken to Ballyhass Lakes for a treat where they, one and all thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
