Springfield Ramblers 4 Riverstown 1

Springfield Ramblers Under 12 Premier League Squad were the envy of all the other teams in the club as they excelled under the bright lights of St Colman’s Park in this victory over Riverstown on Friday night. The tip top playing surface of Cobh Rambler’s home ground suited the Springfield Ramblers players as they played some great football in achieving this win. Keeping possession for long periods they succeeded in creating numerous goal scoring chances throughout the game. Four of these chances were converted including a splendid hat-trick from Cian McNamara, the other goal coming from Jordan Tarrant Lowry. Well done to all the lads.

Under 11 Division 8

Bandon A 1 Springfield Ramblers B 4

This was a great win for the Under 11 Development Squad away to Bandon. Goals from Man of the Match Raymond Roche, George Keating, Alex Ryan and Eoghan Meaney capped a great team performance by all the players who worked hard for this victory against a good Bandon team. The win was ensured by a great penalty save from goalkeeper Dominic Roche and then saved from the rebound. From the back four through the solid midfield and the strikers and to the substitutes everyone played their part in a great team display. Well done to all the lads.

Under 15 Division 4

Glounthaune United 0 Springfield Ramblers A 7

Springfield Ramblers Under 15 Division 4 squad boosted their challenge for league honours with this emphatic away win at Glounthaune on Saturday. The win was achieved with goals from Adam Rasmussen, two from Matthew Pick, two from Danny Roche, and one each from Karl Preston and Aidan O’Rourke. This was a great team performance and should encourage the players for the games ahead.

Rockmount 1 Springfield Ramblers 2

 

Springfield Ramblers quest for Premier League honours continued with this great away win over Rockmount. In an unbelievable team performance Springfield Ramblers went 1 goal up with a great strike from skipper Adam O’Sullivan. Rockmount equalised soon afterward but a great header from Ciaran Ahern restored Springfield Rambler’s lead. Playing with great team spirit Springfield Ramblers kept Rockmount at bay in the second half to seal the points and another massive step towards the league title.

Under 15 Cork Squad Representatives

The Springfield Ramblers club extends its congratulation to Under 15 Premier League Squad members Jason Abbott and Shane Hallahan who started for the Cork Under 15 team in their victory over the Limerick County squad in the inter league match between the sides. The Cork team won on a score line of 2 goals to 1.
