7th March
African Drumming Workshop –
The Unity Drummers will be back in the park with African drumming workshops from 12pm until 4pm. The workshops are suitable for all age groups and have proven to be very popular to date in the park.
13th & 14th March
Mother and Child Weekend –
We have two days of family fun with competitions, talks on animals and their babies, live music and arts and crafts.
13th March – 12th April
Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang in the Park –
Fota Wildlife Park has teamed up with Universal Pictures Ireland to give park visitors the chance to win some fantastic Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang prizes., including the chance to win a private screening of Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang for 30 people!
17th March
St. Patricks Day –
Join the animals and celebrate Ireland’s national holiday at the start of the summer opening hours at Fota Wildlife Park. New talks presenters will be on hand to tell you about all the latest happenings at the park including our new arrivals. There will be face painters on hand to help you get into the spirit and live music at the oasis café.
27th March – 5th April
The Wild Life –
Cork’s Red FM and Fota Wildlife Park host ‘The Wild Life’ where 8 contestants from Cork city and county will live The Wild Life in the park for a week. The week will prove to be no holiday for the contestants, as they will under go daily tasks, chores and the odd surprise to keep the week exciting!
The winner of The Wild Life will walk away with €10,000 cash and a trip for 2 people for 2 weeks in Zambia, Africa thanks to Travel4Change.ie.
27th – 28th March
Birds of Prey Weekend –
Come face to face with hawks, owls, falcons and other raptors at Fota Wildlife Park witness dramatic ‘free flight’ shows at 1pm and 3pm daily.
