Courteney’s Appeal Gathers Momentum

Published

on

As the push to raise a much needed €15,000 continues, we are pleased to announce that approximately €10,500 has been raised over the past few weeks but time is not ou our side now as we strive to raise the remaining much needed €4,500 to enable Courteney Leahy Geasley to make the trip to the Childrens Hospital in Graz, Austria, where it is hoped they will be able to enable Courteney to eat like a normal 10yr old as opposed to having to be fed through a tube.

On Tuesday 2nd March there will be a Bring & Buy held at Cobh Ramblers Clubhouse, starting at 8.00pm and all are welcome.

Friday 5th March, again at Cobh Ramblers Clubhouse, there is an 80’s Themed Disco & Karaoke taking place. Tickets for the Friday Night are priced at €10.00 each and are available from Jack Doyles on Toppa. DJ Dave Mullen who is originally from Cobh and now living in Limerick has kindly volunteered to make the trip to Cobh and give his services for the evening for free. The Geasley Family would like to extend their sincere thanks to Dave, who has assured us of a great evening packed with the best of 80’s music. There will also be many spot-prizes up for grabs on the night. Tickets are also available by calling Sonya Geasley on 087-249-7426.

Saturday 6th March, Hugh Whelan has organised a €50 + €15 NO LIMIT TEXAS HOLDEM FREEZEOUT with two €25 Re-Buys or one Re-Buy One Add-on. There are a couple more events to be added here in the next few days so please stay tuned and as a closing note, the Geasley Family have asked that sincere thanks be sent to all who have organised and taken part in any of the events.
