The Juvenile Section is running A FUNDRAISER TABLE QUIZ on November 3rd at 8:30pm; we ask all parents, members and supporters to come along and support the event. The juvenile section caters for 320 players between the age of 5 and 19 years old. There is considerable cost involved in running this section of the club, so any help/support is gratefully appreciated. Table of 4 is €40. 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes!
Further to a meeting with the Ballynoe Farm Residents Committee about the parking situation on Saturday mornings & Sunday match day, we would ask parents/guardians & supporters to park with due care around the entrance to the estate and the roads within the estate. There have been a number of incidents of parking on footpaths, grass verges, opposite driveways and on corners, which have caused a lot of inconvenience and danger for other road users in/out of the estate. Cobh Pirates RFCin co-operation with the local Gardai will be placing traffic cones at the entrance & immediate environs of to the estate plus the club entrance; we ask you to observe the no-parking within this area and try to park in a safe place. The club will have parking stewards on duty for juvenile and adult match day, we ask you to please co-operate and follow their directions if required to do so.
We understand that the club cannot facilitate parking for all parents on a busy Saturday morning; but, we are actively looking at constructing more parking spaces and trying to secure an overflow car-park in the immediate vicinity of the Paddocks. We thank-you for your co-operation & understanding with respect to the parking constraints we have, when all age grades are playing at the grounds . Munster Rugbyis running two mid-term camps for 6-15 year olds starting on Tuesday, November 1st. The camps run for two days and will be a great way to have fun and learn new skills during the mid-term break. Camp Fee: €20 per child;
