Successful First Week Of Hendo’s Soccer Camp

Over the duration, approximately thirty young kids attended the first ever Stephen Henderson Soccer Camp whick took place from Monday to Friday of this week at the Cobh Wanderers football pitch. The former Cobh Ramblers and Waterford United Manger was assisted for the week by his long-time number two Martin Cambridge and current Waterford United defender Seamus Long as they put the very enthusiastic kids through their paces from 10.00am to 3.00pm each day.

Speaking to Hendo on Friday he told Cobh Edition ”It was a great week for the kids and they all trained very hard, and indeed the overall attitude from them was very professional. It’s a great bonus for us to be able to provide local kids with some of the footballing knowledge that we have gathered over the years of being involved in the game. The standard of these kids throughout the week was very high. We look forward to week two starting on Monday 11th July to Friday 15th”

The price of the one-week camp is €60 per chicld with a reduction to €50 per sibling. Application forms can be downloaded from Cobh Edition or collected from Derek Corcoran at Fanatics Sports shop Cobh.
