Carla Needs A ‘Band In a HURRY’ To Help Fundraise

Cobh woman Carla Brown will embark on a journey to Calcutta for a six month period where she will work with many of it’s ever increasing band of ‘Street Children’. For Carla to make the trip she needs to raise the funds herself and has already had a few fundraisers but still needs more. She will leave Cobh in approximately three weeks and is currently trying to organise a fundraiser in the Paddocks for Friday 11th March but is having great difficulty in securing a band to play for the event which will also have waxing session and other bits n bobs happening on the night.

With Cobh’s musical tradition and the amount of local bands out there at the minute, her pleas for help are not being heard. Does anyone out there know of any band that may be able to help Carla to raise the funds to help these underprivileged children? If so then get in touch with us ASAP! Cobh has a reputation for kindness and for supporting things like these, so come on folks, lets find Carla a band eh!
