Language Competiton Launched
The Cobh & Harbour Chamber Language Competition sponsored by Bank of Ireland, is in its 22nd year. This competition was first run in 1988 and is one of the oldest established events in the Chamber and is held to encourage students to use European Languages, including our own native Irish Language and to assist them with their oral examinations. The competition will take place on Tuesday 26th January 2010 in the Commodore Hotel and any school in the area is invited to submit a group of students for any or all of the orals.
